Our Mission

B-Strong Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization who provides support to local families whose children have been diagnosed with cancer.

We provide financial aid to families because many times a parent must leave their job to be with their child during cancer treatment. While they are losing income, cost for medical copays, prescriptions and travel expenses to the hospital are increasing drastically. Our aid comes in the form of payment for utilities, rent/mortgage payment, car payments and medical expense payments requested by the child’s social worker. We also provide gas gift cards to the CHOP Outpatient center in King of Prussia to help with travel expenses.

We provide meals to the oncology floor of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia through the Ronald McDonald House family room. While children are in the hospital for treatments, especially for an extended stay, a home cooked meal is sometimes just what the patient needs. We provide a fast and easy way for parents and kids to get a free home cooked meal and return back to their room to focus on getting better. Our meals are delivered to the hospital at a minimum of twice a month.

Our gift baskets are focused on the patients and families of newly diagnosed children. They are delivered monthly to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and we provide personalized gift baskets to the children. We also donate hundreds of art supplies, movies and video games to both Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children every year.

Our encouragement is for the families to never give up hope. We supply party items to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia twice a year for the entire oncology floor. We encourage families to Be Strong, Be Brave and BEAT cancerTM with bracelets for all to wear.

In addition, B-Strong Foundation also makes contributions to other non-profit organizations whose goal is to help families during their child’s treatment like Ronald McDonald House Charities.
